Mr. Marc A. Devoid, M.A.
Junior High School and High School Teacher (Headmaster Emeritus)

Mr. Devoid earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Theology from Saint Anselm College and his Master of Arts degree in Theology from Holy Apostles College and Seminary. Mr. Devoid retired as the SAS Headmaster at the end of the 2020-2021 academic year. Since 1995 he has taught courses such as Latin I-IV, Biblical Theology, Dogmatic Theology, Moral Theology, Apologetics, Classical Literature, British Literature, American Literature, Catholic Literature, World Literature, American Government, Church History, Philosophy of Man, Philosophy of God, Introduction to Philosophy, Metaphysics, Cosmology, Logic, Rhetoric, French I, English Grammar and Composition, Saint Augustine's Confessions, Arthurian Legend, C.S. Lewis, The Doctrine of Christ the King, G.K. Chesterton, and J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings. He is the moderator of the Saint Augustine School Chess Club.
Mr. Devoid is married and has five children.

Mrs. Susan Tannel, B.A. – Elementary School Teacher (Teacher Grade K4 and K5)

Mrs. Tannel received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Pre-K Primary Education from Cardinal Stritch College (Milwaukee, WI) in 1994. In addition to homeschooling and being a substitute teacher in the Milwaukee School District and North Shore suburbs, Susan worked as a kindergarten teacher at Our Lady of Sorrows (Milwaukee, WI) from 1995-1997 and a K4 teacher at Aquinas Academy (Menomonee Falls, WI) from 1998-2002. She is also the SAS Yearbook Committee Faculty Supervisor. She is also the K-2 Curriculum Coordinator.

Mrs. Bonnie Kerber – (K4-K5 Teacher Aide)

Mrs. Kerber has taught kindergarten and other elementary school classes for eight years at Saint Augustine School. She also taught Religion to kindergarteners at Saint Anthony Parish in Menomonee Falls, WI. Mrs. Kerber completed undergraduate coursework at the Milwaukee School of Engineering and Waukesha County Technical College. Mrs. Kerber is married and has two children.

Miss Marie Zignego
Miss Zignego is a 2005 graduate of Saint Augustine School. She taught kindergarten for most of the 2005-2006 school year. Having moved to New Hampshire in August 2006, Miss Zignego taught various subjects in 1-4th grades at Immaculate Heart of Mary School in Richmond until she moved back home in November of 2008. Miss Zignego again taught at Saint Augustine for the second half of the 2008-2009 academic year as the 5th, 6th and 7th grade math teacher. She lived in Europe for seven and half years where she learned French as a member of a French religious community. She had the opportunity to live for extended periods of time at the community's convents in four different countries. Miss Zignego moved back to the U.S. in May of 2020. She was the teacher's aide for 1-4th grades at SAS for the 2020-2021 school year.

Miss Rebekah Becker, B.A. (Grades 3-4)
Miss Becker received her Bachelor of Arts in English and writing from Cardinal Stritch University in 2018 with a minor in religious studies. She has a professional background in adult education, having
previously worked for two years as a university writing tutor and private ESL grammar tutor and for three years as an editor for the OnCourse Learning Financial Services. While finishing her degree, Miss Becker primarily worked as a babysitter caring for infants and children up to age twelve, and she is thrilled to have the opportunity to work with children again. Miss Savannah Pankow, M.A. (Grades 5-12)

Miss Pankow earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Theology from Mount Mary College (Milwaukee, WI) in 2013 but also completed undergraduate coursework at Belmont Abbey College (Belmont, NC). Savannah also received a Master of Arts degree in Theology from Holy Apostles College (Cromwell, CT). In addition to teaching in the RCIA program at St. Mary of the Hill Parish (Hubertus, WI), Miss Pankow has also taught 8th grade religious education at St. Matthew’s Parish (Neosho, WI) and 11th grade religious education at St. John’s Parish (Rubicon, WI). Savannah also worked as a clerk at the Basilica of Mary Help of Christians (Hubertus, WI) and ministered to children in emergency shelters and elderly in nursing homes.

Miss Nicole Benjamin (Grades 5-12 Math and Science)

Miss Benjamin received her Bachelor's of Science degree in Biology, with minors in Chemistry and Anthropology, from the University of Missouri - St. Louis in 2013. She also received her Masters of Science in Anatomy and Advanced Forensic Anthropology from the University of Dundee (Scotland) in 2014. Since graduating, she has privately tutored for various high school and college courses and taught High School Chemistry for one year at the St. Francis de Sales Oratory Homeschooled Co-op in 2017. Since the age of 15, she has been continuously working with children through YMCA summer camps, coaching gymnastics, and as a residential advisor for the Missouri School for the Deaf. Additionally, she has been very active in supporting youth of the Institute of Christ the King - Sovereign Priest through chaperoning and organizing the Institute's Girl's Summer Camp (2013 - 2020); as well as developing the Company of the Immaculate at St. Francis de Sales Oratory (2015 - 2020), which is based on French Traditional Catholic scouting models.

Mr. Max Spehlman, M.A. (5th-12th Science + Math)

In August of 2021 I graduated from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee with an MS in Freshwater Sciences and Technology. I am grateful for the opportunity to teach at St. Augustine’s. I am looking forward to helping the next generation of Catholic scientists to grow their academic skillset. As a teacher, I enjoy being able to explain complicated topics in ways that everyone can understand. This year I am teaching chemistry, physical science, astronomy, calculus, algebra II, and business math. Outside of school, I enjoy playing music, and doing work around the farm on which I currently live.

Mr. Jordan Kiokee

Mr. Kiokee studied Religious Studies, Psychology, and Philosophy at Cardinal Stritch University, and previously worked at an afterschool program with elementary school children on Milwaukee’s northwest side for three years. Mr. Kiokee received his sacraments while attending Congregation of the Great Spirit, a Catholic parish on Milwaukee’s south side that caters primarily to American Indian Catholics, as he is both Ojibwe and Cree. He has been attending St. Stanislaus Oratory since 2016 and is looking forward to meeting and getting to know all of the families here at SAS! In his free time he is a fan of boxing and martial arts, but also enjoys learning history and languages.
